- Deliver high-quality, customer-focused features.
- Champion engineering excellence by improving code coverage, coding guidelines, and review processes.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior team members.
- Address ambiguity in complex problems and demonstrate bias for action.
- Shape the architecture of the team’s work area and broader product in collaboration with architects.
- Work with product management, QA, DevOps, and documentation teams on testing, deployment, and feature documentation.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders.
- Help build product roadmaps with clear goals and KPIs.
- Drive feature design and development and present new initiative designs to global architecture forums.
Requirements
- Engineering degree in computer science or a related field.
- Strong foundation in computer science, including algorithms, data structures, software design, and large-scale distributed systems.
- 5+ years of experience designing and developing products for enterprise customers.
- 2–3 years of experience building large-scale distributed data systems using Java and cloud technologies.
- Proven ability to build functionality from conception through delivery and engage customers and partners to drive adoption and satisfaction.
- Experience with performance optimization, code profiling, and Java application runtime analysis.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Hands-on experience with managed cloud databases and queue services.
- Experience driving customer focus for SaaS products.
- Experience with Apache Spark or Apache Flink.
- Experience designing scalable data pipelines for cloud data warehouses and data lakes.
- Experience with Snowflake or Databricks.
- Knowledge of cloud security principles.
- Experience with Kubernetes.
