Responsibilities
- Lead and provide creative direction and feedback across design, copywriting, and video editing.
- Concept original creative ideas and campaigns informed by cultural and social trends.
- Partner with channel managers, creative strategists, and brand teams to develop actionable briefs and improve performance creative.
- Collaborate with external agencies, freelancers, and vendors, providing direction and feedback.
- Guide creative strategy across paid social, organic and owned channels, connected TV (CTV), and print.
- Establish quality standards that balance brand consistency, performance, speed, and volume.
- Champion AI-assisted workflows for ideation, scripting, storyboarding, editing, and asset variation.
- Design best-in-class creative while mentoring and guiding designers, copywriters, and video editors.
Requirements
- 8–10+ years of experience in performance creative.
- Experience leading, mentoring, or managing designers, copywriters, and/or video editors; player-coach experience preferred.
- Strong concepting and ideation skills, including originating creative territories from scratch.
- Working knowledge of short-form video editing, hooks, pacing, UGC-style production, and copywriting fundamentals such as hooks, calls to action, and tone.
- Deep understanding of cultural and social trends and experience translating them into performance creative.
- Experience balancing brand guidelines with performance requirements.
- Experience managing or directing external agency, freelance, or vendor creative partners.
- Experience across print, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, mobile, and Google.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience directing or participating in lightweight, fast UGC-style production shoots.
- Hands-on fluency with generative image and video tools, AI-assisted editing, and AI-supported script or copy drafting.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary: $145,000–$200,000 annually.
