IT Engineer
Own escalated IT support while managing networking and conference room AV across three offices. The role requires 3+ years of distributed-company IT experience, cloud-managed networking expertise, and hands-on administration of identity, collaboration, endpoint, and service-management platforms.

Responsibilities
- Resolve and triage escalated IT support tickets and identify systemic patterns for permanent solutions.
- Own networking and conference room AV across three offices.
- Maintain company-wide office network health standards, including proactive alerting, internet failover, resilience, and network hygiene.
- Support office technology projects from design through cutover, partnering with Workplace Experience, Security, and Employee Experience.
- Provide occasional after-hours or event-day support for All Hands, office moves, and related events.
- Support and administer identity, collaboration, service-management, networking, conference-room AV, endpoint, and automation systems.
- Turn recurring support findings into automation, monitoring, documentation, and runbooks.
- Prototype and validate changes, assess blast radius, and verify automation before production rollout.
- Travel to other offices quarterly or as required.
Requirements
- 3+ years of IT experience at a distributed company.
- Experience independently resolving complex issues and serving as an escalation point.
- Ability to participate in an escalation rotation, including occasional after-hours support.
- Fluency with a cloud-managed network stack such as Meraki, including wireless, VLANs, access points, and multi-ISP failover.
- Experience or interest in owning conference room AV at scale, ideally Zoom Rooms and Neat.
- Hands-on administration across several of Okta, Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack, Jira Service Management, and 1Password.
- Strong understanding of macOS, Windows, and ChromeOS.
- Experience shipping office technology changes cross-functionally.
- Experience using workflow automation and safely validating its output in production workflows.
- Must be within commuting distance of New York City and able to work onsite two days per week, with flexibility for additional onsite support.

Compensation
- Annual salary: $131,750–$155,000.
