Vice President, Product Marketing

Responsibilities

  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing product marketing team.
  • Set and validate go-to-market product strategy with product and revenue leadership.
  • Translate customer pain points, market opportunities, competitive intelligence, and product capabilities into product direction, positioning, and messaging.
  • Lead cross-functional product launch planning and execution from readiness through post-launch measurement.
  • Develop messaging frameworks for IT teams, Managed Service Providers, and priority industry verticals.
  • Support technology alliance partnerships by articulating joint customer value.
  • Lead content strategy across the buyer journey.
  • Own competitive intelligence and equip sales and marketing teams with competitive tools.
  • Lead technical marketing, practitioner-focused content, evangelism, and community engagement.
  • Develop sales enablement materials, including pitch decks and battle cards.
  • Manage analyst relations and incorporate analyst insights into product and go-to-market direction.
  • Lead pricing and packaging development with product and sales teams.
  • Guide branding and product naming efforts.
  • Use AI tools to create scalable content systems and workflows.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of B2B product marketing experience, including several years leading and developing a product marketing team.
  • Experience at a high-growth SaaS or cloud technology company preferred.
  • Experience marketing within the Microsoft ecosystem, including Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365, Intune, or Microsoft 365, or a comparable cloud/end-user computing platform.
  • Experience influencing senior executives and shaping shared strategy.
  • Track record leading go-to-market strategy, product launches, messaging frameworks, competitive intelligence, and analyst relations programs.
  • Experience marketing to enterprise IT teams and Managed Service Providers, or in another dual-audience go-to-market motion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical capabilities into compelling narratives.
  • Comfort using AI tools to scale and standardize marketing output.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

  • Comfort speaking at conferences and to large internal sales teams.
  • Master's degree.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary: $400,000–$475,000 annually.
