Product Manager, Growth & Developer Experience

Own the evaluation journey and developer experience for an agent-identity platform, improving onboarding, SDK and CLI usability, documentation, and self-guided adoption. The role requires technical product management experience with developer products, strong instrumentation and analytics skills, and excellent developer empathy.

About the job

Responsibilities

  • Own the evaluation journey from initial contact through first credential exchange and production decision.
  • Define and measure evaluation milestones and metrics across product, engineering, and go-to-market.
  • Own developer experience across SDK quickstarts, CLI onboarding, console setup, documentation, and template repositories.
  • Reduce time-to-first-credential-exchange and represent developer ergonomics in API and CLI design discussions.
  • Turn field-engineering playbooks and proof-of-concept work into self-guided evaluation paths, reference architectures, and in-product guidance.
  • Run experiments, measure outcomes, and discontinue ineffective approaches.
  • Incorporate evaluator feedback and enterprise design-partner insights into the roadmap.
  • Collaborate with Developer Relations, marketing, sales, and field engineering on evaluation acquisition and handoff points.
  • Observe onboarding sessions, field-engineering walkthroughs, and support threads to identify adoption barriers.

Requirements

  • Product management experience for a developer product where evaluation and adoption were key metrics, such as developer tools, infrastructure, API platforms, or security products.
  • Technical fluency with SDK quickstarts, API design discussions, SQL, and product analytics tools.
  • Strong product judgment and attention to developer experience, including CLI usability, error messages, defaults, and documentation structure.
  • Hands-on use of AI tools and familiarity with the agent ecosystem.
  • Instrumentation-first approach to identifying evaluation drop-off and adoption problems.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a new category without an established playbook.
  • Clear written communication for documentation, problem statements, and experiment readouts.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior engineering experience and shipped code.
  • Experience productizing high-touch motions such as field playbooks, proof-of-concept guides, or solutions-engineering work.
  • Familiarity with identity and authentication concepts, including OAuth, OIDC, token exchange, or delegation.
  • Familiarity with agent protocols such as MCP or A2A.
  • Experience with product analytics, experimentation frameworks, or lifecycle messaging.
  • Shipped documentation, quickstarts, or templates used by developers.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Market-competitive salary and generous equity package with four-year vesting and a one-year cliff.
  • Health, dental, vision, and paramedical coverage for employees and families.
  • Four weeks of vacation, 11 statutory holidays, and one volunteer day annually.
  • New MacBook Pro, $500 peripherals stipend, and access to AI tools.
