Senior Software Engineer-Fullstack

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver full-stack features using TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Build maintainable frontend experiences, backend services, APIs, and data models for member-record workflows.
• Translate ambiguous product and workflow requirements into technical designs and incremental delivery plans.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Clinical, Quality, and engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Improve production-system reliability, performance, security, observability, and maintainability.
• Write high-quality, well-tested code and contribute to testing strategies across the stack.
• Participate in architecture reviews, design reviews, code reviews, incident response, and operational improvements.
• Identify technical debt and make pragmatic improvements.
• Mentor engineers through technical guidance, reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing.
• Use modern developer and AI-assisted engineering tools responsibly.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering production software.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with TypeScript and modern React application development.
• 3+ years of backend experience with Node.js, service development, API design, and integration patterns.
• Experience mentoring and leading junior team members, collaborating cross-functionally, and contributing to project planning and decisions.
• Experience using AI tools such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor.
• Strong understanding of testing, observability, performance, availability, and secure development practices.
• Ability to communicate technical decisions clearly to technical and non-technical partners.
• Willingness to work from the Bengaluru office three days per week and attend late-evening India Standard Time meetings to collaborate with San Francisco.

Nice-to-haves

• Strong backend experience with Node.js and relational database management systems.
• Exposure to microservices, distributed systems, and containerization.
• Experience owning features from technical design through launch and ongoing production support.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted software development or integrating AI capabilities into production workflows.
• Collaborative, product-minded approach in a remote, cross-functional environment.
