About the job

What You’ll Do

Establish the Practice

  • Define and build Vanta's Professional Services function from the ground up, establishing delivery methodology, service offerings, pricing model, and team structure.
  • Develop scalable service packages across all customer segments, with differentiated approaches for high-touch enterprise customers and scalable delivery for mid market.
  • Create a repeatable, measurable service motion that supports onboarding, implementation, and enablement across the customer lifecycle.
  • Design and launch new, innovative service offerings that are tightly aligned with Vanta's product roadmap.

Lead the Team

  • Hire, develop, and lead a high-performing team. Build career frameworks, onboarding programs, and ongoing enablement to develop a world class services team.
  • Serve as the executive escalation point for complex or strategic customer engagements.

Own Revenue and Delivery

  • Own and grow a new Professional Services revenue line, including scoping, SOW negotiation, and services bookings across all customer segments.
  • Implement the tools, dashboards, and QA processes to track and continuously improve core professional services metrics.

Partner Cross-Functionally

  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Success, Solutions, and Channel & Alliances to ensure seamless presales-to-post-sales handoffs.
  • Build and lead a partner services program that acts as a strategic bridge between Vanta's Professional Services function and our broader ecosystem of resellers, service partners, distributors, and auditors.
  • Develop partner-aligned service offerings and enablement resources that help Vanta's ecosystem partners grow their own practices.

How to Be Successful in This Role

  • Strong operator: you build processes, implement tools, and use data to drive decisions.
  • Executive presence with the ability to navigate complex enterprise customer relationships and serve as a credible partner to C-suite stakeholders.
