Enterprise Account Executive, Europe
Own full-cycle enterprise sales and expansion for Patch’s environmental-markets platform, building pipeline and navigating complex Fortune 500 buying committees. Responsibilities
- Own logo acquisition and complex, high-value enterprise customer relationships.
- Run full-cycle enterprise deals with Fortune 500 companies, from cold outreach and discovery through multi-stakeholder negotiation, close, and expansion.
- Build and manage a $3M+ pipeline through prospecting, referrals, events, and strategic outreach.
- Navigate buying committees spanning Chief Sustainability Officers, CFOs, procurement, and legal.
- Lead discovery conversations to uncover strategic pressures, organizational dynamics, and commitment gaps.
- Serve as a trusted advisor by providing environmental-market intelligence beyond the product pitch.
- Partner with Supply, Climate, Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to shape delivery, go-to-market strategy, and the product roadmap.
- Represent Patch at industry and company-hosted events, including London Climate Action Week, Economist Sustainability Week, and SustainabilityLive.
- Use Salesforce, Gong, Dust AI, Asana, Slack, and other AI-enabled workflow tools.
Success Measures
- First 90 days: Ramp on the platform, environmental-market fundamentals, and competitive positioning; audit the inherited pipeline; create a prospecting strategy; and run discovery with 10+ qualified accounts.
- First 180 days: Close the first enterprise deal, build a self-generated pipeline, contribute to the product roadmap, and develop AI workflows to improve productivity.
- First year: Exceed quota, expand 2+ existing accounts, and contribute to Patch's market positioning.
Requirements
- 5–10+ years of enterprise B2B sales experience with a consistent record of 100%+ quota attainment.
- Experience running complex, multi-stakeholder deals with companies of 1,000+ employees.
- Experience building pipeline from scratch through outbound prospecting and relationship development.
- Experience selling a new or emerging category and helping buyers develop conviction in an evolving market.
- Genuine interest in sustainability and environmental markets, with the ability to learn complex domains quickly.
- Ability to earn trust with C-suite stakeholders, including CSOs and CFOs.
- Willingness to develop technical capabilities and learn new tools.
- Based in London or willing to relocate; able to work in the London office 3+ days per week.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with environmental commodities, ESG reporting software, energy, sustainability consulting, or climate finance.
- Experience at a Series A–D company helping shape the go-to-market motion.
- Familiarity with voluntary environmental market standards or corporate sustainability reporting frameworks, including TCFD, CDP, and SBTi.
