Enterprise Account Executive - UK Public Sector
Own and expand a strategic portfolio of UK government accounts while developing new departmental opportunities for Databricks’ Data and AI platform. The role requires strong public-sector enterprise sales experience, UK Government knowledge, consumption-based selling expertise, and disciplined territory planning.

Responsibilities
- Own and grow a portfolio of strategic UK government accounts, maintaining stakeholder continuity and expanding Databricks platform usage.
- Build and execute territory go-to-market plans across departments, agencies, use cases, and partners.
- Identify and pursue net-new opportunities while developing pipeline within existing accounts.
- Translate national and departmental priorities into Data and AI value propositions, executive conversations, business cases, and qualified opportunities.
- Map buying centers, build champions, guide opportunities, and shorten decision cycles.
- Run consumption-led sales motions and grow usage through prioritized demand plans.
- Manage both quick-win opportunities and complex, long-cycle public-sector sales processes.
- Drive renewals and expansions within existing accounts.
- Coordinate professional services, training, systems integrators, cloud providers, and hyperscaler co-sell teams.
- Advise senior government stakeholders with a customer-outcome focus.
Requirements
- Proven quota attainment or over-achievement selling to public-sector accounts.
- Experience developing territory-level go-to-market strategies.
- Experience transitioning inherited account portfolios while building new relationships.
- Working knowledge of UK Government structures, priorities, procurement frameworks, and public-sector technology funding and approval processes.
- Enterprise sales experience in cloud software, data platforms, open-source technology, Data and AI, or related technology markets.
- Experience with usage-based or consumption-based models and co-selling with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Ability to manage land-and-expand sales and greenfield business development.
- Experience developing business cases and engaging senior civil-service stakeholders.
- Experience with MEDDPICC, Value Selling, or similar structured sales methodologies.
- Disciplined and accurate forecasting.
- Eligibility for security clearance; existing clearance is advantageous.
