Leads reseller partnerships and sales execution for Square’s SMB-focused commerce solutions, driving quota attainment, funnel development, KPI-based performance, and leadership development. Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and support a group of resellers focused on selling to SMB service-based businesses, with additional scope across restaurant and retail businesses.
- Lead at the second level of leadership and drive revenue against annual sales quotas.
- Build and maintain direct relationships with employees at each assigned reseller.
- Help resellers build a strong sales funnel.
- Review performance KPIs, including NPA, SaaS, win rates, activations, and activities, and use them to guide decisions and recommendations.
- Partner with Services product teams and the GM as the sales lead and voice in weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings and business reviews.
- Build a high-performance sales culture through development, coaching, recognition, and accountability.
- Communicate change management and inspire and motivate team members.
- Align teams with repeatable sales-funnel processes and best practices across sales development, professional services, and sales enablement and training.
- Represent and influence cross-functionally with Sales Enablement, Deal Desk, Strategy & Operations, Finance, Seller Experience, Marketing, and Risk to remove obstacles and close deals.
Requirements
- 6+ years of sales success, preferably in a high-growth company.
- 4+ years of leadership experience; experience leading a team of sales managers preferred.
- Experience in high-transaction-volume SaaS applications or financial-services sales.
- Proven ability to drive high-performing sales teams and develop strong frontline sales leaders.
- Excellent business judgment and professional acumen.
- Extensive understanding of and experience with a reseller channel.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and departments in a rapidly growing environment.
- Ability to communicate with and manage relationships with senior executives.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Extensive experience in a metrics-driven sales organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in fintech or payments.
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
