Responsibilities
- Own Order Quality design initiatives end-to-end, from zero-to-one concept exploration through execution delivery, across consumer and shopper experiences.
- Become the domain expert for Order Quality and maintain continuity across multiple workstreams.
- Partner with 3+ product managers on product strategy, solution envisioning, and scalable design.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to provide thorough, accurate, and actionable handoffs.
- Balance strategic discussions with detailed execution, including Figma flows, polish passes, and design systems collaboration.
- Build cross-functional relationships across product, engineering, research, data science, and brand.
- Represent Order Quality design in critiques, reviews, and stakeholder presentations.
- Apply modern AI tools to accelerate exploration, prototyping, and iteration.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience designing consumer-facing digital products across web and mobile.
- Portfolio demonstrating complex, multi-step product journeys and measurable outcomes.
- Experience owning design work from problem framing and zero-to-one concepts through high-quality execution and delivery.
- Ability to work across multiple complex problem spaces with several product and engineering teams.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including with senior and executive stakeholders.
- Fluency in Figma, including high-fidelity flows, interaction design, and design-system-aligned UI.
- Curiosity about design craft, AI tools, and emerging capabilities.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with e-commerce, grocery, marketplace, or logistics products.
- Background designing for multi-sided marketplace platforms.
- Experience in larger corporate or agency environments and structured, multi-team design processes.
- Experience working within and improving established design language systems.
Compensation
- US base pay varies by permanent work location: $169,000–$178,500 USD in all other states; $185,000–$195,000 USD in listed states including CO, TX, IL, and others; $194,000–$205,000 USD in Washington; and $20,300–$214,000 USD in CA, NY, CT, and NJ.
- Eligible for a new-hire equity grant and annual refresh grants.
