Partner Solutions Architect

Partners with executives and technical leaders to architect Stripe-based solutions, enable joint go-to-market motions, and drive partner growth. Requires 4+ years in customer-facing technical roles, strong API and enterprise ecosystem knowledge, and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Build highly consultative, trusted relationships with executives and technical decision-makers to provide business and technical thought leadership.
  • Work with key partners to build out Stripe capabilities and solutions that drive scalable growth.
  • Develop and execute technical enablement plans tailored to partner maturity and product focus.
  • Lead technical discussions and solution deep-dives with partners on Stripe's value to their clients.
  • Engage with CTOs and engineering leaders to share Stripe's technology roadmap, showcase innovations, and define solution strategies that expand partnership revenue.
  • Synthesize and communicate partnership wins and progress internally through QBRs and executive updates.
  • Provide oversight, guidance, and assistance during partner sales processes and joint opportunities.
  • Educate the sales team on key partner solutions and capabilities.
  • Advocate for strategic partners within sales regions and identify areas for sales collaboration.
  • Collaborate on technical content, including sample code, demos, and reference architectures, to help partners implement use cases and best practices.
  • Provide partner-focused product feedback to product and engineering teams.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role, such as Solutions Architect, Solutions Engineer, or Technical Account Manager, at a global software company.
  • Experience building joint go-to-market solutions and co-selling with go-to-market partners.
  • Executive engagement skills and presence, with the ability to build credibility with technical and business decision-makers.
  • Strong group-facilitation skills and the ability to lead strategic technical conversations with senior stakeholders.
  • Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle and API architecture.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to quickly learn Stripe products, including Payments, Billing, and Connect.
  • Familiarity with enterprise technology ecosystems, including ERP, CRM, Billing, Tax, legacy systems, and API-first platforms.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple strategic partnerships simultaneously.
  • Strategic and creative thinker who proactively identifies challenges and maintains a positive, solutions-oriented approach.
