About the job

Responsibilities

  • Build n8n's Deal Desk function from scratch with AI- and automation-first intake, approval workflows, and pricing guardrails.

  • Maintain discount and pricing rules that Sales can apply independently.
  • Run monthly and quarterly deal war rooms, especially around month-end and quarter-end close.
  • Handle contract redlines and non-standard terms directly, escalating to Legal when appropriate.
  • Build a redline clause library of accepted and rejected language for AI-suggested fallback terms.
  • Automate approvals and quoting in CPQ; use AI to triage requests and identify changes requiring re-approval.
  • Own Salesforce data quality and executed-contract hygiene.
  • Support Customer Success with non-standard renewal and expansion structuring.
  • Coordinate DPA, SOC 2, and security addendum requests between Sales, Security, and Legal.
  • Report monthly on deal desk performance, including cycle time, discounting, and exceptions.

Requirements

  • In-depth experience developing and operating a Deal Desk function.
  • Strong SaaS pricing, revenue recognition, ARR reporting, and enterprise contract knowledge.
  • Ability to negotiate and redline order-form-level terms directly with customers and determine when to involve Legal.
  • Hands-on experience configuring and operating CPQ and Salesforce.
  • AI- and automation-first working style, with examples of automated deal or approval workflows.
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder-management skills across Sales, Legal, RevOps, and Finance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience building a Deal Desk or similar function from the ground up.
  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Hyperline, or Solvimon.
  • Curiosity about n8n and experience building a workflow.
