Manager II, Services Architect
Leads and develops a team of Service Architects while guiding customer implementations, from requirements gathering and architecture design through deployment and launch. The role combines people management, professional-services sales, customer engagement, and program improvement.

Responsibilities
- Manage, develop, and mentor a fast-paced team of Service Architects.
- Operate as a player/coach to design and guide execution of Datadog implementations, including gathering requirements, building technical architecture, and supporting deployment and launch.
- Develop relationships with sellers in the region to grow sales of Implementation Services.
- Connect directly with customers to position services and evaluate the program’s impact on their business.
- Ensure the highest-quality engagements are delivered to customers.
- Own initiatives to improve the program and service offerings.
- Collaborate with Customer Success, Technical Account Management, and Sales to deliver an exceptional onboarding experience.
Requirements
- Experience designing and delivering technical solutions for DevOps monitoring or systems architecture.
- 3–5 years of people management experience.
- 1–2 years of experience selling or positioning professional services.
- Outstanding presentation skills with both technical and executive audiences.
- Experience with current infrastructure, monitoring solutions, and related technologies.
- Ability to sit for up to 4 hours while traveling to and from client sites.
- Ability to travel by car, train, or air up to 30% of the time.
