Leads Pinterest’s Greater China agency and sales-partner ecosystem, owning strategy, revenue performance, forecasting, and executive relationships while managing a regional team. Responsibilities
- Lead and grow the Greater China sales partner and agency business against revenue, retention, and advertiser-growth targets.
- Own the partner and agency coverage model, including segmentation, service levels, assignments, and capacity planning.
- Develop and execute the strategic plan for agencies, resellers, and other partners by partner type, vertical, and market.
- Build, lead, and coach a team of Industry Managers and individual contributors.
- Serve as senior contact for key agencies, resellers, and partners; build executive relationships and joint business plans.
- Develop and deploy advertiser acquisition, activation, and retention programs through partners.
- Implement scalable processes, playbooks, and automation for partner management and advertiser experience.
- Set partner-segment goals and KPIs, analyze funnel and portfolio performance, and translate insights into actions.
- Own forecasting, pipeline hygiene, performance reviews, and intervention plans.
- Collaborate with Sales Operations, Marketing, Product, Measurement, Policy, and Support to remove scale blockers.
- Represent Pinterest at selected partner and industry events.
- Communicate AI-generated data and performance insights as actionable client strategies, and advocate for relevant AI tools and practices.
Requirements
- 15+ years of professional experience in digital media sales, online advertising, partnerships, or sales leadership.
- Track record of leading teams to ambitious revenue and growth targets.
- Strong knowledge of the Greater China advertising and agency/partner landscape.
- Direct experience with agencies, resellers, or comparable partners.
- Experience with process management, operations management, and scaling partner-led businesses.
- Ability to use data for strategic decisions and clear action plans.
- Business proficiency in Mandarin and English.
- Experience with CRM and analytics tools such as Salesforce, Tableau, and Excel.
- Strong executive presence and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time.
- BA/BS degree.
Preferred
- Experience in scaled or partner-led business segments.
- Familiarity with emerging AI and digital marketing trends, including applying AI solutions to improve client outcomes.
