Responsibilities
- Lead the pursuit of complex, high-value enterprise platform opportunities from identification through negotiation and close.
- Develop multi-year strategic plans grounded in customers’ business models, technical architectures, and market opportunities.
- Build trusted relationships with executive stakeholders across business, finance, product, and engineering.
- Collaborate with Product, Solutions Architecture, Deal Pricing, Engineering, Finance, and Legal to design tailored commercial and technical solutions.
- Lead cross-functional deal teams and align strategy, scope, and resourcing.
- Serve as the executive customer point of contact for value realization, integration design, and long-term partnership discussions.
- Partner with leadership on go-to-market strategy for new industries and verticals.
- Represent customer needs internally to influence product roadmap and commercial strategy.
Requirements
- 10+ years of enterprise sales or business development experience, ideally in fintech, payments, or SaaS infrastructure.
- Proven success leading multi-year, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles with 7–8 figure contract values.
- Experience orchestrating large internal deal teams across product, legal, and finance.
- Exceptional executive communication and experience presenting to and negotiating with C-level leaders.
- Strong technical acumen and familiarity with API-first and financial infrastructure solutions.
- Deep understanding of complex commercial structures, global payments, and software-platform monetization.
- Experience with business-case development, ROI analysis, and financial modeling.
- Ability to operate in ambiguous, rapidly evolving environments while balancing strategy and execution.
- Based in or willing to travel frequently to San Francisco, CA; New York, NY is also acceptable.
Nice-to-haves
- Platform or ecosystem sales experience, such as SaaS, marketplaces, or embedded finance.
- Experience selling to or partnering with enterprise software, vertical SaaS, or global marketplace businesses.
- Track record of influencing internal stakeholders and driving product alignment around key deals.
