Director, Advisor Relations

Director of Advisor Relations to own retention, experiences, recognition programs, and sentiment for Fora X, the community of highest-value travel advisors. Requires 10+ years in travel/hospitality/member experience with proven track record building/scaling high-impact programs that drive commercial outcomes.

About the job

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the Advisor Relations team, including managing the travel-knowledge expert bench and programming at scale.
  • Own the strategy and execution of experiences that retain advisors, such as hosted conferences, local offices, co-working spaces, partner experiences (fams, retreats, hotel openings), and bespoke events. Partner with relevant teams to refine goals and advisor-fit. Prove program impact on growth and retention, and allocate investment accordingly.
  • Own Fora X recognition programs end-to-end, including developing new ones, operations, events, qualification criteria, and collaboration with lifecycle marketing.
  • Own Fora X Advisor sentiment, leading responses to issues surfaced via Support, NPS, or insights; build cross-functional processes for escalation, resolution, and advocacy across product, support, and programming.
  • Run the travel-knowledge bench as a service center for the Fora X business partner team to access expertise on travel nuances and conference selection.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in travel, hospitality, membership, or premium member experience, with 3+ years at a senior, lead, or director level owning a function or program end-to-end.
  • Track record of building high-performing programs from the ground up, with demonstrable scale and outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to link experiences to commercial outcomes like retention and growth.
  • Track record of scaling high-touch programs through systems like segmentation, qualification, allocation, and self-serve options.
  • Experience hiring, managing, and developing a team (managing contractors or vendors is a plus).
  • Travel-adjacent credibility and fluency in luxury travel to earn respect from advisors and experts.
  • Comfort owning scarce, high-demand access (e.g., event seats, fam slots) with fair, holistic decision-making and expectation management.
  • Strong cross-functional skills and genuine warmth toward the community.
  • Ability to work in the U.S.

Strongly Preferred

  • High-growth startup or technology-enabled business experience.
  • AI-forward and excited to use new tools as a core part of work.
