Responsibilities
- Lead large ecosystem and innovation programs from early definition through execution and measurable outcomes.
- Build trusted relationships with senior and executive customer stakeholders and maintain alignment between customer and company organizations.
- Translate between business objectives, emerging capabilities, data architecture, analytics, statistics, integrations, and complex clinical development workflows.
- Partner with Data Science, Implementation Services, Product, and Engineering teams when specialist expertise is needed.
- Shape change strategies and operating approaches for sustainable technology adoption and scale.
- Lead cross-functional, multi-stakeholder programs through influence, clarifying priorities, decisions, dependencies, and responsibilities.
- Develop repeatable frameworks, operating models, and best practices for ecosystem programs and strategic customer engagements.
- Collaborate with Customer Strategy Managers to connect ecosystem initiatives with broader customer strategy, adoption, value realization, and long-term success.
- Identify opportunities to create additional customer value.
- Travel up to 30%.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in management consulting, strategy consulting, data and analytics consulting, business transformation, or a comparable strategic advisory environment.
- Experience with data and analytics, statistics, data architecture, data strategy, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical R&D, clinical development, life sciences, or a closely related industry.
- Experience leading senior customer relationships and engaging credibly with technical and data stakeholders.
- Exceptional structured problem-solving skills and comfort with ambiguity.
- Experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder programs across organizational boundaries.
- Ability to translate between business strategy and technical concepts.
- Strong executive communication, facilitation, and storytelling skills.
- Commercial awareness and experience identifying opportunities to create additional client or customer value.
- Ability to influence senior internal and external stakeholders without direct authority.
- Self-directed, intellectually curious, and comfortable in a rapidly evolving environment.
Nice to Have
- Management consulting experience in a dedicated data, analytics, or technology practice.
- Experience advising pharmaceutical or biotechnology organizations on data strategy, clinical technology, or digital transformation.
- Familiarity with clinical data standards, EDC, clinical systems, integrations, or clinical trial data flows.
- Experience with statistical analysis or quantitative decision-making in clinical development.
- Experience with AI-enabled technology or enterprise SaaS platforms.
- Experience leading innovation or emerging-technology programs with evolving requirements and success measures.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $166,000–$196,000 per year.
