Media Manager
Own Replit’s paid media program by directing external agencies, challenging cross-channel plans, stewarding multi-million-dollar budgets, and translating campaign performance into leadership decisions. Responsibilities
- Lead external media agency relationships as the primary day-to-day partner.
- Set media strategy direction, write briefs, run planning cycles and QBRs, and hold agencies accountable for performance, optimization, quality, and business results.
- Review and challenge agency recommendations across TV, CTV, online video, OOH, audio, social, search, and programmatic.
- Own media budget pacing, forecasting, authorizations, and reconciliation with Finance.
- Monitor spend and delivery, flag risks, and drive data-informed reallocations.
- Lead annual, quarterly, and campaign-level media planning aligned with audiences, product moments, competitive pressure, and business goals.
- Define campaign KPIs and measurement frameworks with agencies and Analytics.
- Own wrap reports and drive testing across incrementality, brand lift, and marketing mix modeling.
- Translate campaign and channel performance into recommendations for marketing leadership.
- Partner with Brand, Growth, Creative, Product Marketing, Social, and Communications.
Requirements
- 5+ years of media planning and strategy experience, either on the brand side managing external agencies or at a media agency serving major consumer brands.
- Experience independently reviewing and challenging agency media plans.
- Experience managing multi-million-dollar media budgets across concurrent campaigns, including pacing, forecasting, and mid-flight reallocation.
- Fluency across TV/CTV, online video, OOH, audio/podcasts, paid social, search, and programmatic.
- Strong command of reach and frequency, brand lift, incrementality testing, and marketing mix modeling.
- Sharp analytical skills and strong Excel proficiency.
- Strong stakeholder management across Finance, Analytics, Creative, and agency teams.
- Active daily use of AI tools for analysis, reporting, and planning.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and at speed.

- Experience at a high-growth consumer technology, B2C, or AI company.
- Media agency experience followed by, or interest in, a move to the client side.
- Experience building a media function or measurement framework from scratch.
- Experience with OOH and large cultural-moment buys.
- Perspective on how AI is changing media planning and buying.
- Active Replit user who has built and shipped something with the product.
- Based in or able to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area.
