Responsibilities
- Partner with enterprise customers to identify automation opportunities, gather requirements, and translate business problems into agent-powered solutions.
- Design and build agentic automations using Beam’s Agent OS, including workflow scoping, prompt engineering, and integration configuration.
- Manage delivery end to end, including timelines, client expectations, and communication with technical and executive stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and iterate on live automations by diagnosing issues, refining prompts, and improving performance.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to scope features, identify platform gaps, and inform the roadmap with customer insights.
- Advise clients on AI adoption, workflow automation best practices, and integration architecture.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in a client-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineer, Implementation Consultant, Deployment Engineer, or Customer Engineer.
- Strong project management and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to engineers and executives.
- Demonstrated prompt engineering expertise, including writing, testing, and optimizing prompts in production or near-production settings.
- Experience using AI to automate real business workflows.
- Strong API knowledge and experience coordinating API-based integrations with external systems.
- Analytical, process-oriented approach to structuring complex workflows and designing automation solutions.
Nice to Have
- AI/ML background or hands-on experience applying AI to business workflows.
- Experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
