Senior Value Engineer - CPG/Retail

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor helping customers achieve strategic goals and realize value using the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform.
• Own the end-to-end customer value journey, including landing, expansion, adoption, and renewal.
• Translate customer priorities into high-impact use cases, value assessments, proof-of-value projects, business cases, demos, and strategic roadmaps.
• Facilitate business value workshops and identify opportunities for process enhancement.
• Define improvement measures, initiate change initiatives, and train users and process owners to realize value.
• Present realized value, results, roadmaps, and transformation opportunities to senior management and C-level executives.
• Manage multiple projects across aligned accounts, including scopes, expectations, timelines, and ecosystem partners.
• Develop strategic expansion roadmaps and provide feedback to product teams on new use cases.

Requirements

• Experience in an analytical role involving business data analysis, business process improvement, and software deployment.
• Experience in solution consulting, sales engineering, IT or management consulting, business software/SaaS, or an enterprise analytics center of excellence.
• Knowledge of business software and SaaS applications, such as SAP.
• Experience implementing RPA or BI tools, or building dashboards, apps, and action flows.
• Knowledge of Python and/or SQL and experience collaborating with IT teams.
• Experience identifying process-improvement use cases and deploying improvement measures.
• Project management experience, including planning and managing scopes, expectations, and timelines.
• Strong executive stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
• Understanding of Finance and/or Supply Chain domains and strategic transformation initiatives.
• Native-level or near-native German proficiency, written and spoken, with the ability to lead customer workshops and executive presentations in German.
• Degree in Technology and Management, Industrial or Business Engineering, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a comparable field.

Nice to Have

• Industry expertise in Manufacturing, Automotive, Consumer, Retail, Pharmaceuticals, or Chemicals.
• Experience with process mining, business transformation, or enterprise SaaS platforms.
