Account Manager, Enterprise
Own and expand Plaid’s strategic enterprise customer portfolio across the UK and Europe, leading renewals, multi-product growth, and strategic customer initiatives. The role requires 7+ years of client-facing commercial experience, strong executive relationship skills, and familiarity with fintech and banking markets.

Responsibilities
- Own and grow a portfolio of Plaid's largest and most strategic UK and European enterprise customers.
- Build trusted-advisor relationships with executive sponsors and day-to-day operators, providing product and strategic guidance.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities and convert them into deployed use cases.
- Deploy innovative use cases across fintechs and banks in the UK and Europe.
- Lead commercial conversations, including renewals, expansions, and strategic partnership discussions.
- Provide industry insight, product guidance, and data-driven recommendations to customers.
- Lead business reviews, operational checkpoints, product launches, and technical escalations.
- Develop account strategies balancing near-term commercial execution with long-term customer growth.
- Partner with Sales, Solutions Engineering, Product, Engineering, Support, and Legal.
- Advocate for customers internally and surface feedback that influences product direction.
Requirements
- 7+ years in a client-facing commercial role such as Account Management, Strategic Partnerships, Consulting, or Business Development.
- Demonstrated success growing enterprise relationships and revenue within an existing book of business.
- Strong commercial acumen and a track record of driving renewals, expansions, and multi-product growth.
- Ability to navigate complex organizations and build relationships at all levels, including executive leadership.
- Experience partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Support.
- Comfortable operating and traveling across UK and European markets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
- High degree of ownership, curiosity, and customer empathy.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with the regional fintech and banking landscape and regulatory context, including PSD2 and regulated financial services.
