Responsibilities
- Build new backend connectivity services powering millions of virtual machines on Databricks.
- Lead the design and development of services connecting the control plane and compute plane.
- Develop networking infrastructure that improves compute-plane scalability and cloud-resource efficiency.
- Collaborate with product management, operations, and engineering teams to deliver robust, scalable, and efficient networking systems.
- Solve multi-cloud and distributed-systems challenges in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- 8+ years of production-level experience with Python, Java, Scala, C++, or a similar language.
- 4+ years of experience developing large-scale distributed systems from scratch.
- Experience working on a SaaS platform or with service-oriented architectures.
- Extensive networking experience.
