Sr. Manager, Email Security Engineering
Lead and scale the Email Security engineering team, owning roadmap delivery and architectural decisions for high-throughput distributed systems while mentoring engineers and partnering with Product and Security.

Responsibilities
- Lead and scale a team of high-performing engineers, providing mentorship and career development.
- Own the delivery and execution of the Email Security roadmap, ensuring high velocity without compromising on quality or reliability.
- Drive architectural decisions for complex, high-throughput distributed systems and platforms.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product and Security teams to align technical strategy with customer needs.
- Foster a culture of operational excellence, overseeing oncall rotations, incident response, and system health.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as a strong IC in distributed systems or backend infrastructure, with a proven track record of transitioning into successful engineering management.
- Experience managing teams of engineers in a high-scale, high-growth environment.
- Strong product sense and the ability to translate technical constraints into product tradeoffs.
- Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional partners like Product and Security.
- Startup agility: A low-ego, "roll-up-your-sleeves" attitude with the ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced settings.
