Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor cross-functional software development teams.
- Champion an AI-first culture and encourage adoption of AI capabilities to improve product performance and efficiency.
- Drive end-to-end software project delivery using Agile methodologies.
- Own technical design and architecture decisions with stakeholders.
- Ensure high-quality releases through process management and technical oversight.
- Partner with product managers to align development with user needs and business priorities.
- Improve team performance, structure, and development practices.
- Lead operational excellence efforts supporting customer needs and minimizing impact on patient outcomes.
- Maintain knowledge of products, industry and technical trends, and business practices.
- Communicate effectively with customers and build professional relationships.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of software development experience, with recent experience as a Development Manager or Team Lead.
- Experience leading software development teams and delivering enterprise applications.
- Strong experience with Java, Python, Spring, SQL, and web technologies.
- Deep understanding of Agile practices and the software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, analysis and design, development, release and version control, and deployment management.
- Experience with Java SDK 1.5 or higher, Java web applications, Servlets, Servlet Filters, JSP, JSTL, JDBC, Spring Framework 3.x or higher, Spring MVC, Microsoft SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web service platforms.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming and enterprise software design.
- Strong leadership, troubleshooting, problem-solving, collaboration, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage complexity, drive results, and foster a high-performance culture.
- Experience leveraging AI technologies and frameworks to deliver software solutions.
