Provides customer-facing technical leadership for Customer Lake implementations, adoption, and complex escalations. The role requires deep CDP and MarTech expertise, experience with data and AI applications, cloud platforms, and professional Japanese proficiency.

Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for strategic customer implementations spanning architecture, data engineering, identity resolution, audience activation, and agent deployment.
- Collaborate with GTM leadership and account teams on engagement strategies that drive Customer Lake adoption from Customer 360 development through CDP augmentation or replacement.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to CMOs, MarTech leaders, data engineering leaders, and marketing and analytics teams.
- Lead customer workshops, proof-of-concept (POC) execution, presentations, demonstrations, and customer-facing collateral development.
- Translate field insights into recommendations for Product and Engineering teams.
- Act as the tier-3 escalation point for complex technical challenges in customer-facing data environments.
- Establish and refine sales qualification and POC intake processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of expertise in customer data platforms, marketing technology, or customer data engineering, including 3+ years in a customer-facing, pre-sales, or consulting role.
- Experience designing and implementing data and AI applications for marketing and customer engagement, including identity resolution, segmentation, personalization, next-best action, and agentic AI workflows.
- Deep familiarity with CDP and MarTech/AdTech platforms and composable CDP architectures, including Salesforce Data Cloud, Adobe, Segment, Treasure Data, Braze, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of first-party and third-party data, enrichment data, identity graphs, consent and privacy signals, and marketing and advertising destinations.
- Experience operationalizing customer data as governed data products, including audience and segment definition, reverse ETL and activation pipelines, and metric, identity, and consent governance in Unity Catalog.
- Experience working with Global System Integrators and third-party consulting organizations.
- Hands-on experience building solutions in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including cloud-native data ingestion, activation, and governance.
- Undergraduate degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Full professional proficiency in Japanese is mandatory; business-level English proficiency is preferred.
