Senior Solutions Architect - Lakebase

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with GTM leadership and account teams to design and execute high-impact engagement strategies across the assigned territory.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and expert Solutions Architect, building technical credibility with stakeholders to drive product adoption and vision.
• Enable clients at scale through workshops and customer-facing collateral that increases technical knowledge and thought leadership.
• Influence the product roadmap by translating field-derived, data-driven insights into strategic recommendations for Product and Engineering teams.
• Act as the tier-3 escalation point for complex technical challenges in mission-critical environments.
• Co-plan large territories with Account Executives and operate in coordinated, cross-functional efforts across GTM and R&D teams.
• Collaborate with Global System Integrators and third-party consulting organizations to drive customer outcomes.
• Develop presentations, demonstrations, and other assets that support meaningful product adoption.

Requirements

• 10+ years of transactional database (OLTP) expertise across engineering, product development, administration, and pre-sales, with a proven track record of designing and delivering client-facing solutions.
• Experience influencing OLTP products with market insight to shape and prioritize roadmap capabilities.
• Experience architecting solutions that integrate transactional data systems within broader Big Data, Lakehouse, and AI ecosystems.
• Infrastructure, platform, and administration expertise in disaster recovery, high availability, backup and recovery, scale-out methods, identity and security management, and migrations between vendors or from on-premises to cloud.
• 6+ years in a customer-facing, pre-sales, or consulting role influencing technical executives, driving high-level data strategy and product adoption.
• Proficiency in programming, debugging, and problem-solving using SQL and Python.
• Hands-on experience building solutions within major public cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Broad experience in at least two of data engineering, data warehousing, AI, machine learning, governance, transactional systems, application development, and streaming.
• Undergraduate degree or higher in a technical field such as Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a similar discipline.
• Track record of driving complex projects to completion in fast-paced, customer-facing environments.
