Software Engineer I
Build and own production features for a compliance orchestration and AI-agent platform, spanning APIs, integrations, data pipelines, and case-management tools. The role requires 0–2 years of software engineering experience and backend development fundamentals.

Responsibilities
- Build, deploy, monitor, and iterate on end-to-end features across backend APIs, data pipelines, integrations, case management UI, and customer-facing tools.
- Design scalable REST APIs and microservices orchestrating checks across compliance vendors.
- Develop KYB/AML case-management workflows and business logic.
- Create pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and routing compliance data.
- Integrate third-party identity and compliance APIs and map complex vendor responses.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code with documentation.
- Participate in code reviews and technical architecture discussions.
- Debug production issues, resolve incidents, and improve performance, reliability, cost efficiency, monitoring, alerting, and observability.
- Collaborate with product managers, compliance experts, and customer success teams.
Requirements
- 0–2 years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production systems.
- Strong programming fundamentals in at least one backend language such as Python, Go, Java, or Node.js.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, or distributed systems.
- Understanding of relational databases and data modeling.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and modern deployment practices.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, communication, and business-to-technical translation skills.
Nice-to-haves
- FinTech, RegTech, payments, fraud, or risk-detection experience.
- Knowledge of KYC/KYB, AML, sanctions screening, or adverse-media workflows.
- Event-driven architectures and message queues such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS SQS.
- NoSQL databases or search engines such as MongoDB, DynamoDB, or Elasticsearch.
- Third-party API integrations and vendor management at scale.
- React and TypeScript experience.
- ML/AI or data-intensive application experience.
- Kubernetes, Terraform, or infrastructure-as-code experience.
