Responsibilities
- Design, build, and evolve end-to-end features across the stack.
- Develop Java/Spring Boot backend services and responsive frontend interfaces for admin and user portals.
- Build workflows for travel policies, approval chains, user roles, and permissions.
- Architect and scale APIs and data services handling high data volumes, transactional integrity, reporting, and integrations.
- Own the design, development, and launch of microservices and features.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams on complex cross-domain features.
- Partner with leadership on the technical vision for the domain.
- Write high-quality, well-tested code and contribute to testing, monitoring, documentation, and operational reliability.
- Mentor other engineers and promote engineering best practices.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of software development experience, focused on full-stack web applications in SaaS environments.
- Hands-on server-side development with Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience with data modeling, query optimization, secure RESTful APIs, and microservices.
- Frontend development experience with React, Angular, or Vue.
- Proficiency with TypeScript, state management, and API-driven interfaces.
- Experience integrating frontend applications with backend microservices, distributed systems, and cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Strong ownership, collaboration, communication, and ability to ship production-quality software with monitoring and documentation.
- Ability to use AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, CodeGPT, Claude, and Cursor.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
