Responsibilities
- Develop and standardize centralized procurement policies and processes to improve operational efficiency, spend visibility, controls, and compliance.
- Implement and optimize procurement software, aligning configuration with business needs and providing actionable reporting.
- Lead annual budget planning with FP&A and align procurement strategy with financial goals.
- Establish frameworks with department heads for visibility and control of departmental spending, vendor relationships, and budgets.
- Partner with Compliance and Legal to ensure procurement activities, vendor contracts, and policies meet regulatory and legal standards.
- Review and negotiate vendor contracts, including risk-mitigation language and service-level agreements.
- Drive supplier performance management, cost savings, and process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain, including leadership experience in high-growth or multi-location environments.
- Experience designing and scaling centralized procurement operations and policies in startup/scale-up and publicly traded company environments.
- Strong knowledge of procurement software and spend management systems.
- Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or digital health.
- Expertise in vendor negotiations, contract review, and cross-functional stakeholder collaboration.
- Strategic, hands-on, execution-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication, project management, and leadership skills.
