Senior Accountant responsible for month-end close, digital asset ledger management, revenue recognition under ASC 606, and driving process automation in a fintech/crypto payments company.

Responsibilities
- Drive process improvements and automation by partnering cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and Data teams to enhance reporting quality
- Execute month-end close activities, including variance analysis and reconciliations across BS and IS accounts
- Maintain accuracy and completeness of the digital asset ledger across multiple entities
- Build scalable reconciliation frameworks that support the month-end close, external audit, and regulatory requirements
- Develop repeatable processes and checklists to support growth and operational scale
- Ensure intercompany accounts are properly reconciled and in consolidation
- Perform revaluation and translation for international subsidiaries on a monthly basis
- Analyze revenue contracts to ensure they are appropriately accounted for under ASC 606
- Ensure invoices are accurate and billed to customers in a timely manner
- Provide support for special projects, system implementations, and acquisition integrations
Requirements
- 3–5 years of accounting or finance experience
- Proven ability to improve processes, drive automation, and enhance operational efficiency
- Strong command of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606
- Experience working with large datasets and complex reconciliations
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally in a remote-first, high-growth environment
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with accounting systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar
- Exposure to fintech, payments, or crypto-native companies
- Big 4 experience and/or CPA designation
