Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Manage the accounts receivable collections process for an assigned book of business.
  • Analyze customer payment patterns and aging reports to identify trends and potential issues.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Revenue, and Sales to resolve billing discrepancies and disputes.
  • Manage billing inquiries and collectability concerns through Zendesk, triaging issues to the appropriate teams and driving collections.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships to facilitate prompt payment and resolve outstanding balances.
  • Help customers understand bills that vary by usage and plan type.
  • Assist with external audits, compliance, and special projects.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounts receivable team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of full-cycle accounts receivable or billing operations experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work independently with strong work ethic, self-motivation, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Salesforce, NetSuite, and Tableau.

  • Annual salary range of $81,000–$109,000 USD.
