Operations Lead - Billing, Reconciliations, & Buyouts
Own invoicing, billing reconciliations, and contract buyouts for a remote operations team serving independent supply stores. The role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong spreadsheet and numerical skills, clear written communication, and the ability to investigate discrepancies independently.

Responsibilities
- Own client invoicing, ensuring invoices are accurate, timely, and aligned with signed contracts and delivered services.
- Run billing reconciliations by matching payments to invoices and bank and card account activity.
- Investigate discrepancies, resolve root causes, and document findings clearly.
- Manage contract buyouts, including verifying amounts and end dates, processing payments, and maintaining accurate tracking.
- Partner with Finance, Sales, and Client Success across billing handoffs, renewals, and buyouts.
- Support broader operations through reports, tracker maintenance, vendor questions, and process support.
- Create and improve SOPs to make recurring processes faster, cleaner, and less error-prone.
Requirements
- Strong curiosity and persistence when investigating discrepancies.

- Strong numerical and spreadsheet skills.
- Clear written communication, including explaining reconciliation findings.
- Organized, self-directed ability to own recurring processes.
- Ability to work remotely from the Philippines with overlapping hours with the US team.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, bookkeeping, or reconciliations.
- Experience using Google Sheets, Salesforce, Brex, or QuickBooks.
- Experience writing SOPs or process documentation.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving startup.
- Interest in building materials, paint and hardware, SaaS, or ERP.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base compensation: $18,000 per year.
- Remote contractor role without the US benefits package or Philippines-mandated benefits.
