Responsibilities
- Handle credit dispute functions, including indirect disputes through e-Oscar and direct disputes in Salesforce.
- Investigate account information and ensure accurate reporting to major credit bureaus.
- Liaise with consumer reporting agencies and e-Oscar to resolve credit-bureau issues and assist with customer inquiries.
- Process direct and indirect disputes accurately and promptly.
- Research and respond to disputes in compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).
- Maintain service levels and update account statuses as necessary.
- Review complex credit files and transaction histories to identify errors or inconsistencies.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience with credit bureau reporting at a financial institution.
- Credit dispute resolution experience and in-depth familiarity with credit reporting agencies.
- In-depth experience working with e-Oscar.
- Familiarity with the Metro2 reporting format.
Nice-to-haves
- Strong understanding of credit reporting laws, including FCRA.
- 3–5 years of hands-on credit dispute resolution experience.
- High school diploma, GED, or relevant equivalent experience.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly pay range of $23.41–$31.20 USD, paid biweekly; eligible for overtime.
