Responsibilities
- Lead development of user-facing Identity Administration features across UI components, APIs, and data persistence layers.
- Partner with UX Designers and Product Managers to translate complex administrative workflows into accessible user experiences.
- Build and maintain scalable web applications using React and modern state management libraries.
- Design and implement performant RESTful APIs and backend services in Java for multi-organization management capabilities.
- Participate in technical design sessions and major development projects.
- Maintain high code quality through frontend and backend unit and integration testing.
- Participate in on-call rotations and collaborate with Site Reliability Engineering to maintain application reliability and uptime.
- Partner with Product Development, QA, and Site Reliability Engineering teams on development and deployment work.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional full-stack experience building and maintaining production-grade web applications.
- Expert knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
- Strong experience with Java, including Spring or Dropwizard, and/or Golang.
- Deep understanding of RESTful API principles, JSON handling, and secure frontend-backend communication.
- Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and JWT in relation to session management and frontend authentication.
- Proficiency in SQL and relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Splunk or SignalFX for full-stack debugging.
- Experience with design systems or component libraries and a strong eye for design.
- Understanding of deploying services across isolated infrastructure units.
