Deployment Strategist, Future Platforms | Housing

Responsibilities

• Own accounting deployment success end-to-end across multiple concurrent client deployments, from sales handoff through post-launch stabilization.
• Drive accounting discovery, scoping, and decision-making with Controllers, CFOs, and finance teams.
• Define workflows and configure systems for bank account onboarding, vendor onboarding and payments, chart of accounts, transaction codes, and charge codes.
• Lead hands-on accounting setup, including chart of accounts configuration, vendor and entity setup, and transaction and workflow mapping.
• Validate client-provided materials, identify inconsistencies, resolve gaps, and ensure data integrity.
• Prepare data migration and system cutover; lead reconciliations, financial-data validation, workflow stabilization, close-process setup, and operational adoption after launch.
• Conduct trainings, walkthroughs, and tailored demonstrations for accounting teams.
• Identify and resolve adoption blockers.
• Develop repeatable implementation processes, templates, playbooks, and best practices.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to improve accounting workflows.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, product management, and/or founder/operator roles at high-growth startups.
• Background in accounting or finance, such as Controller, Senior Accountant, accounting consultant, or accounting-focused operator experience.
• Experience managing complex, client-facing implementations or projects.
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, including general ledger, reconciliations, close processes, and workflows.
• Comfortable working with data, configurations, and systems in detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust with senior finance stakeholders.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple concurrent deployments under tight timelines.
• Autonomous, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in ambiguity.
• Willingness to work in person at the office 4–5 days per week.
