Responsibilities
- Develop and own product strategy and roadmap for data catalogue, metadata, and data lineage capabilities.
- Understand the needs of data engineers, data scientists, analysts, ML engineers, and AI agents.
- Identify and prioritize high-impact problems while balancing user needs, business priorities, platform requirements, and regulatory considerations.
- Evaluate and deliver solutions through building, buying, or integrating third-party products and capabilities.
- Define success metrics and KPIs for adoption, value creation, and business impact.
- Build relationships with product, engineering, analytics, and data teams to understand workflows, gather feedback, and shape platform investments.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and data science partners to deliver platform experiences.
- Influence stakeholders across the organization to align on product direction and priorities.
- Shape approaches to metadata, governance, discoverability, lineage, and trust in an AI-driven environment.
- Monitor trends across data platforms, developer tools, AI/ML infrastructure, analytics, and data governance.
Requirements
- 2+ years of Product Management experience, ideally with platform products, developer tools, data infrastructure, analytics platforms, or data governance systems.
- Technical foundation through a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and/or prior engineering or technical experience.
- Ability to engage in technical discussions with engineers while representing customer and business needs.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-alignment skills.
- Strong systems-thinking skills connecting workflows, platforms, users, and business outcomes.
- Empathy for data practitioners and understanding of their challenges.
- Ability to work through ambiguity, break down complex problems, and create clarity.
