Product Operations Specialist | Generalist

Own product operations for a meaningful fintech product area by combining customer insight, analytics, process development, launch support, and partner operations. Requires at least two years in product, product operations, or strategy and operations, plus SQL and cross-functional execution experience.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the voice of the customer within a product area and connect customer experience insights with product and engineering teams.
  • Own company-wide initiatives that establish scalable, predictable, and reliable processes.
  • Conduct product analytics and data analysis to identify opportunities to improve product performance, quality, and usability.
  • Support flawless product launches through documentation, enablement, and organizational context sharing.
  • Help develop tools and processes for identifying and resolving product incidents, bugs, and issues.
  • Manage operational relationships with partners and vendors, including service agreement negotiations and joint performance assessments.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, designers, data teams, customer-facing teams, partners, and vendors.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in product management, product operations, or strategy and operations, ideally in a fast-growing business.
  • Experience executing complex initiatives involving coordination across multiple teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify root causes and develop enduring solutions.
  • Experience using qualitative and quantitative feedback to make product recommendations.
  • Experience working directly with customers or clients through feedback requests or user research interviews.
  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members with constructive feedback.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.
  • Ability to translate data into insights and action, including querying SQL.
  • Comfort working in ambiguous environments and independently defining solutions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Retool or other low-code tooling platforms.
  • Management consulting experience.
  • Technical programming experience with Python, Java, or React.

Compensation and benefits

  • Annual salary: $128,000–$180,000.
  • Flexible PTO.
