Product Specialist - Rentals

Own the resident and property-manager experience for a multifamily rentals platform by testing end-to-end journeys, analyzing product signals, managing quality issues, and translating partner feedback into prioritized improvements. Responsibilities

  • Represent residents and property manager partners in Rentals pod discussions and decision-making.
  • Run end-to-end product journeys across leasing, onboarding, and monthly rent payment.
  • Test new features, enhancements, and partner integrations across environments as the first line of defense for product quality.
  • Document, prioritize, and drive bugs and usability issues to resolution in Linear with engineering and product.
  • Monitor adoption, usage, and payment-success metrics across the Rentals platform.
  • Analyze resident and partner behavior to identify trends, edge cases, failure points, and improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with multifamily operators to understand their businesses and translate findings into product feedback.
  • Surface downstream implications for internal teams, partners, and residents before and after launches.
  • Turn testing, support signals, and experimentation results into clear, prioritized recommendations.
  • Build and refine AI workflows using ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude for testing, analysis, and documentation.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a product role, product operations, product analytics, quality assurance, consulting, or a similar field.
  • Strong attention to detail, product intuition, and commitment to user experience and product quality.
  • Curiosity and ability to investigate how products work and why issues occur.
  • Strong partnering skills, including working directly with external partners and translating business needs into product feedback.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with product and business data.
  • Ability to synthesize quantitative signals and qualitative feedback into actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude and designing and iterating on AI-driven workflows.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in proptech, multifamily, or real estate technology.
  • Experience working closely with engineering and design teams.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools or SQL.
  • Experience supporting both consumer- and partner-facing products.

Compensation and Benefits
