Responsibilities
- Build and maintain data pipelines that move customer data from diverse sources to data warehouses.
- Develop and operate connectors on a global Kubernetes compute cluster.
- Work with cloud APIs, SQL and NoSQL databases, events, and high-volume data systems.
- Process data into clean, incremental, automated updates.
- Contribute code, code reviews, architectural design, and technical leadership.
- Mentor junior engineers and ensure technical excellence for owned services.
- Identify design flaws and implement system improvements.
- Use conversational AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT to research, author, review, and synthesize software development lifecycle artifacts.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience.
- Recent hands-on software development experience with strong technical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience building reliable distributed systems and managing high-volume data in enterprise or web-scale products operating under strict SLAs.
- Broad knowledge of software development and automation.
- Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures.
- Expertise in Java, AWS, cloud-based APIs, databases, software design, and programming best practices.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, excellent communication, and technical leadership skills.
- Ability to foster innovation, productivity, quality, and customer service.
