Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers across teams to design and deliver APIs and features for B2B customers.
- Drive improvements to codebase and architecture for reliability, maintainability, and scalability.
- Mentor and coach engineers on engineering practices and testing.
- Partner with product management and product design to define feature functionality and incorporate customer feedback.
- Participate in the on-call rotation to maintain service availability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working on large-scale systems or services.
- Experience using Node.js with TypeScript or JavaScript to build backend services and maintain public or internal APIs.
- Previous full-stack application experience; familiarity with React is a plus.
- Experience with SQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases, including MongoDB.
- Strong communication, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing abilities.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Experience with containerization using Docker.
- Experience with cloud environments; AWS and/or Azure preferred.
