Responsibilities
- Work closely with architects, Scrum Masters, QA, and product managers to deliver high-quality features on schedule.
- Develop complex features for the core platform.
- Lead technical solution presentations to architects and drive feature delivery and implementation decisions.
- Make day-to-day technical decisions and distribute work across engineers.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor developers.
- Develop unit and integration tests and maintain strong code coverage.
- Review testing approaches and plans with QA and provide implementation details.
- Maintain internal feature documentation.
- Communicate with cross-functional teams and manage global stakeholders.
- Provide ongoing support for areas under the engineer's responsibility.
- Lead functionally and mentor team members.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in enterprise application design and development.
- 10+ years of experience building scalable distributed data systems with Java and Python.
- Strong foundation in computer science, including algorithms, data structures, software design, and large distributed systems.
- Experience with Java performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Technical mentorship and leadership experience.
- Hands-on experience reviewing and writing code.
- Ability to deliver solutions, provide implementation support, and engage with enterprise customers and partners.
Nice-to-haves
- Customer support experience in a SaaS environment.
- Experience building scalable distributed data systems using cloud technology.
- Previous development experience for enterprise customers.
- Experience with big data technologies.
- Experience with NoSQL databases.
- Experience with cloud-managed services, including AWS, GBT, and Azure.
- Master's degree or equivalent experience.
