Marketing Intern

Supports global marketing operations through campaign coordination, CRM and data maintenance, reporting, event support, and process improvement. The intern should be organized, detail-oriented, comfortable onsite five days per week, and familiar with spreadsheets and marketing or CRM workflows.

Responsibilities

Marketing Team Operations

  • Maintain weekly marketing priorities, project trackers, campaign calendars, hiring trackers, vendor lists, and operating documents.
  • Track owners, deadlines, priorities, next actions, dependencies, blockers, and decisions across active initiatives.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, notes, decisions, action items, and follow-up summaries.
  • Follow up with stakeholders and surface risks before deadlines are missed.
  • Organize Notion pages, Google Drive folders, asset libraries, and other documentation.
  • Create repeatable standard operating procedures for recurring workflows.

Campaign and Program Support

  • Support campaign planning through research, briefs, timelines, launch checklists, and coordination documents.
  • Coordinate deliverables across Content, Design, Social, Performance Marketing, Sales, Product, and external partners.
  • Maintain campaign calendars and track assets, owners, deadlines, approvals, and dependencies.
  • Create and maintain UTM links and campaign naming conventions.
  • Perform quality assurance on landing pages, emails, social posts, forms, event pages, and campaign assets, including testing links, forms, confirmation flows, dates, time zones, mobile layouts, and tracking.
  • Organize campaign results for post-campaign reviews and reporting.

Data, CRM, and Reporting Support

  • Clean, organize, and validate campaign and event lead lists.
  • Identify duplicates, missing fields, inconsistent data, and incorrect campaign or source tags.
  • Support CRM uploads, lead-source tagging, owner mapping, and post-upload reconciliation.
  • Collect weekly and monthly reporting inputs and maintain simple dashboards and reporting views.
  • Surface missing campaign data, unclear ownership, incomplete follow-ups, and reporting inconsistencies.

Event, Content, and Social Support

  • Support event preparation and follow-up, including event trackers, target-account lists, invite lists, registration pages, attendee sheets, briefing documents, and asset checklists.
  • Track registrations, attendance, meetings booked, leads captured, follow-up status, and pipeline inputs.
  • Support post-event lead cleanup, CRM preparation, internal summaries, and recap coordination.
  • Coordinate content and social scheduling, publishing workflows, source materials, insights, customer proof points, and asset tracking.
  • Maintain organized folders for drafts, approved assets, and published links.

Process Improvement

  • Identify repetitive manual work that could be simplified, standardized, or automated.
  • Use spreadsheets, AI tools, no-code systems, and existing platforms to improve workflows.
  • Document new processes and recommend practical improvements.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Able to work onsite in the Santa Clara office five days per week.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including concise professional updates under time pressure.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Comfortable maintaining trackers, cleaning data, reviewing documentation, and following up repeatedly.
  • Able to manage multiple active tasks and shifting priorities.
  • Able to work independently and escalate risks or decisions early.
  • Comfortable communicating directly with senior stakeholders.
  • Existing authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is unavailable.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous internship, academic project, or practical experience in marketing, operations, events, content, or project coordination.
  • Familiarity with Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
  • Exposure to HubSpot, Salesforce, Notion, Airtable, Asana, or similar platforms.
  • Basic understanding of CRM records, campaign tracking, UTM parameters, or digital analytics.
  • Experience supporting events, webinars, email campaigns, landing pages, or social media workflows.
  • Familiarity with Canva, Figma, or basic creative-production tools.
  • Interest in AI, automation, fintech, anti-fraud, AML, compliance, or financial crime prevention.
