Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Legal Engineers, setting performance expectations and building a high-trust, high-output culture.
- Own the quality and consistency of the pre-sales legal engineering function, including demos, discovery conversations, and deal support.
- Partner with Account Executives and go-to-market leadership on prioritization, deal strategy, and complex or strategic opportunities.
- Engage prospective customers to understand and address legal workflow challenges.
- Collaborate with Product and Marketing to incorporate field insights into positioning, roadmap, and go-to-market strategy.
- Lead product demonstrations tailored to law firm practice groups and in-house legal teams.
- Serve as the voice of the customer and synthesize customer feedback for the product team.
- Travel may be required, including visits to customer and company offices.
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with 7+ years post-qualification experience (PQE) in a law firm or in-house legal environment.
- Prior team-management experience with a record of developing talent and driving performance.
- Deep familiarity with legal technology and AI tools, with the ability to quickly develop and demonstrate platform expertise.
- Strong commercial instincts and credibility with senior stakeholders at law firms and in-house legal teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including experience running training, workshops, or client-facing product sessions.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach.
