- Represent Mercury by reaching out to prospective customers and introducing them to the company.
- Research and target potential customers while collaborating with the sales team on outreach strategies.
- Use cold calling, social prospecting, and email prospecting to generate interest and schedule meetings.
- Qualify leads against the ideal customer profile.
- Build relationships with prospects, understand their needs and pain points, and schedule meetings with sales representatives.
- Track and report sales metrics and pipeline activity.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience in sales, business development, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex ideas clearly and precisely.
- Proven ability to achieve and exceed goals.
- Creativity, tenacity, and a willingness to develop innovative prospecting approaches.
- Collaborative mindset and comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Interest in fintech and complex technical products.

Compensation
- US employees in New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle, or the San Francisco Bay Area: $70,800–$88,500 USD base salary.
- US employees outside New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle, or the San Francisco Bay Area: $63,700–$79,700 USD base salary.
- Total rewards include base salary, equity, and benefits.
