Responsibilities
- Navigate complex organizational hierarchies with key client executives and stakeholders to empower clients and deepen relationships with Flexport.
- Meet regularly with clients to monitor account health and improve their experience.
- Identify, develop, and close upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities.
- Monitor client financial health, report on client financials, and ensure consistent payment schedules.
- Lead client onboarding and create standard operating procedures.
- Scope and guide implementation stages and timelines for new opportunities and clients.
- Collaborate globally with counterparts in Asia, North America, and Latin America to ensure a consistent account management experience.
- Monitor client metrics and work with Global Operations teams to meet client expectations, address escalations, and resolve issues.
- Prepare content for regular client touchpoints to demonstrate realized value and identify performance-improvement opportunities.
- Architect three-year supply chain roadmaps aligned with clients' global business goals.
- Drive product adoption among client stakeholders.
- Review and document client success criteria, refining them as client needs evolve.
- Maintain client health data in Salesforce and use it to improve the client experience.
- Mentor and coach fellow Account Managers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain operations, sales or account management, or another client-facing role.
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain.
- Client-centric mindset with a strong focus on client outcomes and strategic account planning.
- Hands-on, process-oriented, structured thinking and strong problem-solving skills.
- Curiosity and commitment to understanding client needs.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to analyze metrics.
- Strong business acumen.
- Proven track record of cross-selling or selling a product.
- Strong focus on growing customers through a consultative approach.
- CV submitted in English.
Compensation and Benefits
- Gross annual base salary: €41,600–€57,200 EUR.
- 22 vacation days, plus additional paid permits and time off, canceled holidays, and ROL.
