Responsibilities
- Act as the customer’s technical advisor across the lifecycle, partnering with Sales and Customer Success from evaluation through onboarding and expansion, with a primary focus on pre-sales revenue impact.
- Lead technical discovery and architecture for strategic prospects and existing customers; translate customer workflows into product configuration, data models, permissions, and integration patterns.
- Run pre-sales technical evaluations end-to-end, including tailored deep-dive demos, proof-of-concepts, security and architecture reviews, and integration workshops.
- Design and execute migrations and implementation plans, and provide clear handoffs to post-sale teams covering context, decisions, risks, and next steps.
- Build and maintain scalable demo environments and reference configurations that mirror enterprise workflows.
- Create lifecycle playbooks, technical training, exemplars, and enablement for sales and post-sale teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years in Solutions Engineering, Pre-Sales, or a similar role at a high-growth SaaS company, supporting enterprise-scale deals.
- Hands-on experience with OAuth2, GraphQL, data migrations, and product integrations.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to engineers and executives.
- Experience with GitHub and Git; Linear and/or Jira strongly preferred.
- Ability to build realistic, scalable demo environments and troubleshoot production issues.
- Computer science degree or engineering background strongly preferred.
- Experience partnering across Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams.
- Comfort with SQL and scripting such as Python or JavaScript.
