Responsibilities
- Act as a player-coach, supporting associates in meeting goals and mentoring them in subject-matter expertise.
- Manage a small team of TechOps Payments Analysts.
- Use metrics-driven analysis to assess and optimize team performance, with a strong focus on automation.
- Streamline data reporting through automation and deliver timely, data-driven insights to management and key stakeholders.
- Use data to guide people-management strategies and optimize team productivity.
- Participate in weekly business reviews (WBR), using data to lead discussions and support decision-making.
- Manage capacity and scheduling, dividing and assigning work among team members.
- Lead discussions with TechOps, Engineering, and cross-functional partners to unblock complex reconciliation issues.
- Ensure the team develops the data-analysis and technical skills needed for success.
- Set clear individual and team performance goals and expectations.
- Foster continuous improvement of team processes and procedures.
- Support recruitment and hiring initiatives.
- Coach and mentor individuals through structured career-development conversations.
- Provide continuous performance feedback and facilitate periodic formal performance reviews.
- Drive initiatives that make the team a welcoming place to work.

Requirements
- At least 12 months of strong performance in the current role.
- 9+ years of experience, including 1–2+ years leading operations teams.
- SQL, data analysis, and payments reconciliation skills.
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to unblock the team with internal or external support.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong planning and time-management skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate with multiple cross-functional stakeholders to achieve results.
- Experience mentoring others and providing constructive feedback.
- Ability to motivate and engage a team within a structured process.
- Ability to serve as a subject-matter expert in the relevant line of business.
