Owns the onX Hunt lifecycle funnel, driving trial conversion, free-to-paid upgrades, and lapsed-user reactivation through data-informed experimentation across email, push, and in-app channels. Responsibilities
- Own the onX Hunt lifecycle conversion funnel, including Day 7 and Day 30 conversion, free-to-paid upgrades, and lapsed-user reactivation.
- Use Amplitude, propensity models, and behavioral segmentation to develop testable hypotheses and target users with relevant messaging.
- Design, run, analyze, and document lifecycle experiments across email, push, and in-app messaging in Braze.
- Partner with product, engineering, and BI to define events and attributes that enable personalization.
- Analyze experiments independently and communicate outcomes, caveats, and null results to stakeholders and leadership.
- Collaborate with finance, brand and growth marketing, and the Hunt creative team to align programs with revenue goals and campaign standards.
- Create creative briefs and lightweight assets in Figma.
- Use Claude and similar AI tools to build repeatable workflows, agents, and systems for campaign production and analysis.
- Mentor junior lifecycle marketers and promote shared experimentation standards.
Requirements
- 8 years of lifecycle, CRM, retention, or growth marketing experience, preferably in consumer subscription or mobile app businesses.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience designing, running, analyzing, and documenting A/B tests that improve conversion or retention.
- Strong understanding of user behavior and product analytics, including Amplitude or similar tools.
- Working knowledge of propensity models and predictive targeting.
- Proficiency with Braze or a comparable CRM platform, Amplitude, Figma, and Claude or similar AI tools.
- Ability to self-serve analytics and experimentation results.
- Permanent US work authorization.
- Ability to travel quarterly for multiple days to a corporate office or other onX strategic location.
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with hunting culture or a passion for hunting and the outdoors.
- Experience with Liquid templating or similar dynamic personalization tools.
- Experience partnering with data science teams to deploy propensity or churn models in production campaigns.
- Experience optimizing trial-based subscription funnels and paywalls.
Compensation
- Salary range: $113,000–$142,000.
