Responsibilities
- Own positioning, messaging, and value frameworks for the AI inference portfolio.
- Develop competitive and market strategy for AI inference and infrastructure.
- Lead end-to-end product launches, including narratives, press, analyst briefings, and sales enablement.
- Define enterprise buyer personas and journeys for CIOs, VPs of Engineering, VPs of AI, and platform teams.
- Create practical sales enablement, including sales plays, discovery questions, objection handling, cost and ROI models, and customer stories.
- Provide input on pricing and packaging based on enterprise buying and budgeting behavior.
- Define the relationship between open-source projects and commercial products while maintaining community trust.
- Brief analysts, prepare executives, and represent the company at events, podcasts, and community engagements.
Requirements
- 8+ years of B2B enterprise software product marketing experience.
- Meaningful experience marketing infrastructure, developer, or data platform products to technical buyers.
- Proven enterprise go-to-market experience influencing revenue and complex deals.
- Working knowledge of AI inference, cloud infrastructure, software deployment and operations, and the Kubernetes ecosystem.
- Experience marketing open-source and commercial products within the same organization.
- Experience bringing a technically ambitious product to market in an emerging category.
- Strong writing skills, including the ability to produce product marketing copy directly.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.
- Credibility with engineers and senior sales leaders.
- Familiarity with the Pragmatic Marketing discipline.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience marketing AI or ML infrastructure, inference serving, GPU capacity, or MLOps.
- Familiarity with the CNCF or PyTorch ecosystems.
- Hyperscaler or cloud marketplace go-to-market experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with Command of the Message or an equivalent value messaging framework.
- Experience serving as the first or only product marketer and building the function from scratch.
